Before Audio Khor, Kevin, Malaysian-Pinoy, born in the US and raised in the Lion City, Singapore; was a snowboarding cook in a ski lodge in Japan, making music on the side with a guitar and a laptop. Now, he’s a plant lover learning how to play golf with his hat on backwards.

Growing up watching larger than life action films on the big screen in Chennai, India, Karthik was always fascinated with the way cinema was celebrated in his culture. Wanting to become like legendary sound designer Skip Lievsay, Karthik moved to the USA and joined the sound design program at Chapman University. Today, he is a Los Angeles based sound effects editor with over 100 credits on a wide variety of films, both in Hollywood and Indian cinema. When he isn’t designing a roaring engine or layering sounds to create the perfect punch, Karthik can be found at the nearest movie theater or enjoying Formula One race weekends with a cup of tea.
